I remember great jam sessions throughout my life where I learned so much and had great times. I would like to experience that again and would like for other people to have the opportunity as well. I have this wonderful little house in Midway with a great front porch, just begging to be used through the summer. 

On selected Sundays this summer I invite all of you and anyone you would like to bring with you to an open jam on the porch from 3-5pm.  My idea is not necessarily to perform for one another, but to have an exchange of music and stories; to teach each other something new, something old, something interesting. Everyone should come away knowing something that is new to him/her. The first porch jam on May 21 was a wonderful success we had seven musicians and a lot of fun. 

Bring a chair along if you have one.  Let anyone who might be interested know about it. Musicians and spectators are both welcome

UPDATE 2007

Summer 2007 has been brutal here so we did not have any scheduled jams. I am hoping that this fall will bring a bit cooler weather and we can do a couple of jams before winter.
