CLOSING OF ENTRIES

Entries close May 18, 2009 except as provided in "Post Entries" section (see below).

POST ENTRIES

Entries at the regular fee must be postmarked no later than MAY 18, 2009. POST ENTRIES will be accepted at the regular entry fee plus $15 per horse up to TWO HOURS before the session entered. FOR ENTRIES MADE TWO (2) HOURS BEFORE THE SESSION THERE WILL BE A POST ENTRY FEE OF $100.00. ENTRIES MAY BE FAXED. PLEASE NOTE AND OBSERVE THIS DEADLINE.

ATTENTION DEVICES

Items such as tape measures, blow horns, split bamboo poles or whips longer than six (6), that would alter the performance of a horse or disturb another horse while performing in a class, will not be allowed at the entrance to the show ring or ringside. Explosives, fire extinguishers, and laser beams used as training aids are prohibited on the show grounds before, during, or after the show. All such items will be confiscated and offenders will be reported to the USEF (See USEF GR 302.4I and GR 320).

In consideration of your fellow exhibitors and for the presenting the proper image of the American Saddlebred, attention getting devised should be used with caution in the warm up and schooling areas. We encourage you not to use Lash whip on Victory passes.

MOTORIZED VEHICLES
GR1301

Minors who do not have a valid driver's license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors with a valid temporary license may operate the above-described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver's license. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parents, guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parents, guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Rule 7. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.
